TREx software was born to solve a systemic problem in the Oil & Gas & Engineering industry that carries a huge operational cost and reduces the ability for engineers to spend their time innovating. TREX’s pilot customer had a tactical problem that needed solving.

 The Information Management department was struggling to cope with the reporting demands and contractual obligations, the use of Regular Expressions was identified as a way of tackling large amounts of documents and greatly improving their reporting capabilities, which ultimately shortens the time to value. 

Through the use of TREx, the initial tactical fix actually provided them with a strategic vision allowing them to reallocate vast amounts of engineering time that had previously been spent on Information Management which was now being spent on innovation and differentiation from their competition.
